Desri Goodwin is a professionally trained nutritionist, gourmet raw food chef, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) practitioner and Strategic Intervention (SI) coach, Desri prepares all the cleansing juices and meals for guests at Haven’s residential retreats. She also offers online and in-person therapy sessions, retreats and nutritional consultancy.
With her husband, Robin Goodwin, Desri runs bespoke and life-changing retreats online and in residence at Haven, a beautiful location in France, dealing with the health and wellbeing of both mind and body.
She is an advanced raw food chef trained by Matthew Kenney and Plantlab.
People have travelled to Haven’s residential retreats from all over the world to find peace of mind, renewed energy and motivation and healing.
Since 2018, she has been facilitating the same level of change through online retreats and therapy sessions, via video link.
What can Desri help with?
Nutritional consultations: Desri can help clients who may be struggling with their weight, disordered eating, losing weight or simply who want to boost their energy, motivation and overall happiness. She does this through key dietary changes, planning out and supporting clients through this process.
Gourmet raw food retreats: Desri plans and prepares all the food for Haven’s gourmet raw food retreats and intensive emotional therapy retreats. She has also recently begun to cook for high-profile clients, with her culinary expertise receiving incredible reviews from guests of the residential retreats.
She will also be starting special event catering when all the travel restrictions are over in Paris and elsewhere in France. This will predominantly be raw vegan, as well as also offering juice and gourmet meals direct to the client on the Ile De Ré.
Strategic intervention coaching (SI): SI is a dynamic style of coaching that can help people to take action towards achieving their goals, and getting results. By taking actions taught by SI coaches, such as Desri, clients are supported in making permanent, positive changes to their lives.
CBT: Desri is a qualified CBT practitioner, and implements her processes to the online and residential retreats that are held to help clients across the world. Whilst the NLP and strategic intervention processes are something Desri and Robin prefer to use because they are fast, efficient and profound, CBT can be useful and have a place in certain situations.
Desri understands that emotional and health challenges can present themselves through different situations and life stages.
She has vast experience in helping people regain energy, confidence, motivation and happiness through an integrated approach to emotional therapy and healing.
